KayeBloom is an offline Android study app that combines question-and-answer flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes, and a Memory Garden. Each deck has a lily that grows as the learner demonstrates recall in completed quizzes.
Audience and goals
KayeBloom serves students and independent learners who want to organize study material by subject and practise wherever they have their phone. The study loop is to build a deck, review its cards, take a quiz, and use the results to decide what to revisit.
Learner requirements
- PRD-01 Manage decks and cards. Create a named deck and add, edit, or delete its question-and-answer cards. Open the deck later to continue studying.
- PRD-02 Import study material. Import prepared TXT or CSV flashcards. Preview the cards and edit or remove any entry before saving the deck. Optional in-app prompts help learners prepare PDF or Word notes with an external tool.
- PRD-03 Review at your own pace. Flip cards to reveal answers and star difficult cards for focused practice. Reviewing or starring a card leaves its recall level unchanged.
- PRD-04 Take quizzes and retry missed questions. Take a quiz with optional question shuffling and receive feedback after answering. Choose an answer or type one when prompted. See the first-round score on completion. Second Chance gives one additional pass over missed questions and reports that practice separately.
- PRD-05 Track progress. See a lily for each deck progress through five growth stages as mastery increases. The app displays deck mastery, a daily quiz streak, and the number of fully bloomed decks.
Distribution and support
Deck creation, review, quizzes, and progress tracking work offline. Learners can study without an account, subscription, or ads. The companion website presents the app, listing assets, privacy policy, and installation instructions. It provides a direct APK and instructions for invited Google Play testers. The Help menu opens this document and the Technical Requirement Document.

- Complete a quiz with at least one missed answer. Record the score and mastery, then complete Second Chance and check that the first-round score and mastery remain the same.
- Open both Help documents on desktop and mobile, then check that the installation page offers the APK download and shows its installation steps.
